Due to arthritis in my hands I was having a great deal of trouble opening jars, even when using other aids. This is great! Just ;lace it on the jar lid, press the button and it takes care of the rest. So glad I purchased it. Would be a great gift for someone who has trouble opening jars. Note that it doesn't work on plastic lids, so won't open a mayonnaise jar for instance.

I got this jar opener for my parents, my dad specifically, who has arthritis in his hands and finds opening cans and jars very difficult. This works like a dream and would highly recommend for anyone who has even the slightest difficulty opening jars. You literally put it on the jar lid, press a button and it does the rest for you. I wish I'd gotten this for my parents years ago!!

I love this opener if I didn’t have it I would be unable to open any jar because of my arthritis it’s like my best friend in the kitchen
