I used this in a shower arm install and it worked great. This coupling has a first rate chrome finish. it will match the finish of whatever shower hardware you use it on. The threads are deeply cut and the shoulders allow a Crescent wrench to tighten if needed.

I add a diverter valve between a short straight shower arm and a S shape shower arm for a rain shower head. I needed a way to connect the S shaped shower arm to the diverter vale and this chrome coupling works and looks great.
