I have had an air purifier in our bedroom for several years. I truly could never sense that it was doing any good. With the HAWEA Max HEPA I could immediately sense that I was working and working well. The ionization feature produces a clean flow of fresh air. You can literally smell the improvement.

The HAWEA is exactly as described. It was so easy to setup and get running, literally just a couple of minutes. It is so quiet I hardly notice it is there, which is what I wanted. It reacts quickly to changing air conditions. I just some hairspray down the down (about 40 feet away) and within about 5 minutes the Oransi adjusted to turbo mode and the indicator showed poor air quality. It took about 30 minutes before the air returned to normal. I didn’t realize hairspray would alter the air that significantly from that far away. I kept the door closed and the window open. My husband has asthma (the main reason we got the unit) and he noticed the improvement in the air quality. I am extremely happy with the HAWEA and have recommended it to my friends.

This air purifier arrived in a box that was not taped shut and had obviously been opened before. No manual or operating instructions were in the box. Now I have to search the internet to even learn how to turn it on.

Very quiet at low speeds; kinda noisy at max speeds. But at my house it runs at the lowest speed. I blew some smoke at the air quality sensor and indeed, the indicator said that the air quality was two level below the max, the fan speeded up for a few moments, and then slowed down when the indicator went back to saying very high-quality air! The color for the LED surrounding the power switch changes according to the air quality, which I guess is nice but, even better, those of us who like a dark room can turn the LED off!
