I ordered this for my husband that prefers old fashioned tools over something noisy and unnecessary (like an electric grinder). We are not fancy coffee snobs, but we start our mornings with a a few cups of coffee. This grinder is so quiet, it’s actually a soothing sound as my husband grinds coffee. He has to run it twice for the full carafe. Absolutely recommend!

Love the rustic build to it! The iron with the wood is a great look with a great feel. The adjustments are a little more cumbersome than with some other manual grinders but the heavier iron grinds a lot smoother than the cheaper, easier to adjust, thin stainless steel grinders.
