I suffer from generalized anxiety and have a tendency to have panic attacks that present more similarly like a respiratory event than a mental one. With a serious and contagious respiratory virus affecting the country right now, It has added another level of panic to these events. I finally purchased an oximeter so I can monitor my oxygen levels when this happens so I can have visual proof that I will be ok and the trouble breathing will pass. I feel safer having this in the house, too, for future cases of illness of any member of my family.
