The compression wrap that braces and protects the shoulders has a length of 33.5 inches, as long as the combined width of the chest and shoulders fits within 33.5 inches the Velpeau bandage will fit the child carrying it.

Even though it’s too big to use as designed, it works perfectly!! Since the Velcro can be attached anywhere I just wrapped it behind his shoulders and criss crossed it to the front and attached it to the opposite shoulder. Since he is determined to crawl (lots and lots of wiggling) still I interwove the “waist” strap with the criss crossed straps to keep it from moving higher or lower on his body. He’s 11 months old and we’ve had to use this for 3 weeks to keep his cast on. (He had surgery for his webbed fingers)
