The 4 curtains came in an air-sealed bag for cost-cutting. The suction cups are in the same tightly packed bag. As a result, the cups are all compressed and distorted. To make them return to their normal shape, I simply put them in warm water for a while. Since they are soft rubber they expanded and I can make them attach to any smooth surface. The curtains are not meant to be 100% opaque, or I won't be able to see through during driving. The objective I have was to block the sun light on my arms and my thighs due to the curvy shape of my car's body. And thus the curtains work just as promised. They are light and easily packed away.
